BECAUSE SHE WAS A GIRL
Timid and naive , she jumped around in her floral frock imagining herself as a butterfly but there were those who wanted to cut her wings before they grew only because she was a girl!
Passionate and exuberant she made up big dreams to influence the world with her optimism but there were those who tried to bury her talent under the label of feminism!
Strong and invincible, she had the fervour to turn down their remarks with the power of her voice, the strength of her words but there were still those who lectured her to be soft spoken!
Powerful and energetic, she vigoured to pick all those heavy burdens, carry all the bricks to build her dreams when people taught her to show delicacy and frailness!
Loud and confident, she spoke for the rights of her kind though she was told to be quiet and limited because that’s how a girl should be!
It was in her blood to be influential but all they wanted was to dominate her!
She did not let their words weaken her spirits, she did not let the customs hide her uniqueness, she did not allow herself to be oppressed when she was born to make a difference!
She spoke, she struggled, she fought for what was true, she handled the kitchen the office, the car , she could softly smile and rigidly fight at the same time, she rose high above her goals to break all stereotypes and she changed their perspective!
The reason not being that
She did it “THOUGH” she was a girl
but
She did it “BECAUSE” she was a girl
